Then other Asian currencies, such as the HK dollar and Singapore dollar link themselves to the Rmb rather than the US dollar. AND, the scariest of all, when China calls on its debt with the US, which is now into the 10's of trillions of dollars. A small rescession will be the least of their concerns.
